RUGELEY IN BLOOM HAVE AN OFFICIAL LOGO

January saw the launch of a Rugeley wide logo competition for budding artists and Isla Hodgkiss, aged 8 from John Bamford Primary School, has been crowned the winner.

The response to the competition was fantastic, with submissions from some very talented primary school aged children.

Bloom Logo

Rugeley in Bloom aims to beautify Rugeley, it is not simply about flowers. We want to tell the story of Rugeley and preserve our colourful history. Similarly, participants were guided by the themes of nature, plants, flowers, local landmarks and the history of Rugeley. It was an incredibly challenging decision for the Committee – all entries were fab and very artistic.

A huge congratulations to our winner, Isla, for her vibrant design which incorporates the natural environment of the Chase, our rich mining and industrial heritage and colourful flowers which are beautifully in Bloom.
